Heroes At Home Radio
Heroes At Home Radio is an online radio show that features single parents who are capable, intelligent, caring and most of all, “heroes” for their children. We hope the stories of these successful single parents will encourage you to realize your own potential and achieve your dreams. Listen as experts and other advocates share important advice on how you can accomplish your goals and become successful regardless of obstacles. Watch videos or listen to podcasts at HAHR.
Hero at YOUR Home Submissions (starting October 15th)
I am proud to say that my mother was truly my hero. Each and every day, she went above and beyond to be a good parent and a good person in general – even when things got tough! Just like her, I am sure there are MANY great ‘heroes’ out there that NEED recognized! If you know a single parent, teen, tween, or someone who helps disadvantaged people that deserves a really special “thank you” for all that they do…we would LOVE to help you say “thank you” to them! Each month, we will randomly pick an “at home” hero to feature on either the video blog or podcast show.
YOU CAN RECOMMEND YOUR HERO ONE OF TWO WAYS:
Option #1
Want you hero featured on Heroes at Home TV? Send a short video introducing and explaining why he / she is a hero … you can even let them speak for themselves on the video. (You can upload this video to Youtube, Vimeo or another video sharing site like we have done here with TinyPic – http://tinypic.com/r/350utub/7.
Send the link to your video with your contact information. Use “Hero at MY Home” as the subject of your email.
Option #2
Are you camera-shy? No problem! You can send a recommendation about the special hero in your life and why they should be featured on the Heroes At Home Radio podcast. Just write a few paragraphs about the person you are nominating and Traci S Campbell will review.
Submit your recommendation in writing. Please make sure to type “Hero at MY Home” as the subject of your message.
DON’T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION (name, email, phone number).
What better way to let the world know how special and appreciated someone is for all that they do!
